Why can't I connect to the Pinger servers?

If you have having problems with connecting to the Pinger servers, please use the following steps in order to ensure that you have a solid connection.

  1. Please check that you are connected to a data network, wi-fi, 3G, or EDGE. If you're on an iPod touch, you must be on WiFi for the app to work.
  2. Try resetting your network connections. Note: if you're using Textfree Web, this will also reset any saved usernames and passwords that are stored on your browser. You will also lose any preset network information that you may have. To do this, go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings.
  3. If all else fails, try reinstalling the app.  Complete instructions are located here:  http://pinger.zendesk.com/entries/20071461
