With Textfree Android, we give you the option to show your native texts (texts that come to your Android phone number from your carrier) in Textfree! This is totally optional and can be turned off if you prefer.

Not sure if you're texting with your native number or your Textfree number?

• If you're texting with your native number, in your conversation view there will be a warning.
   

To switch back to texting for free with Textfree: 

• Tap your device's menu hard key while in conversation view with your contact
• Tap "Send via Textfree"
  

To keep your Textfree inbox from showing your native messages please follow these instructions:

• Log in to Textfree
• Tap your device's menu hard key
• Tap "Hide Native Messages"
