Your Textfree number (and minutes) expire after 30 days of inactivity

Getting emails that say your Textfree number is about to expire?

Don't panic! It's easy to keep your number from expiring. Simply log in to your account and send a quick text message. You'll be good for another 30 days! If you don't have access to your device, you can always login to your account on another iPod touch, iPhone or iPad, Android device or from Textfree Web at http://pinger.com/textfree

What won't keep your account active: receiving texts from your friends, sending picture messages, and placing and receiving phone calls.

Why do we expire numbers?

Our system automatically recycles phone numbers to new users after 30 days of inactivity.  If you have minutes attached to your number, they'll disappear too.

We DO warn you via email when this is about to happen, so you won't be surprised. This is why it's important to verify your email address with our system! Make sure that you check to make sure our emails aren't getting stuck in your spam filters too!

Getting these emails, but never signed up?

Oops! Sorry about that :/ Someone may have signed up with your email address by mistake. To stop receiving these, just let our Support team know that that this email wasn't meant for you. They'll confirm that you would like to remove your email address from the account.
