Can anyone see my name?

Non-Pinger users

No. For people who do not have a Pinger or TextFree account, they will NOT see your name or any other account information (when you text them, or if they try to search for you in the app or on the Help Center). 

Pinger users

Maybe (it depends on whether or not they have a name associated with their Pinger account).

Once a conversation has started with another Pinger user, a name may populate instead of the phone number, whether or not you have the contact saved.

No other account information is visible (such as email, username, etc). Only the registered name may be visible to a Pinger/TextFree user should they enter your number in their app.

Items to note: 

• Pinger does not have a "directory search/lookup" tool in the app, Web, or Help Center to search by username, email, number, name, etc.
  • The registered name may be visible to Pinger/TextFree users
