What information is collected on me?

Personal information that is collected and used by Pinger can be found outlined under ”Privacy Notice for California Residents.”

What personal information do you share/sell?

We use ads to provide our service for free. To improve your experience, we use data to show ads that will be more relevant to you.

How do I opt-out of the sale of my personal information?

If you'd like to opt out of this use of your data, you can do so by purchasing a Pinger Plus subscription from the applicable Apps Stores. The Pinger Plus subscription needs to remain active to prevent the use of your personal info for advertising.

How can I access my personal data?

You can make a request for a copy of your personal information by logging into your TextFree account using this link: Access My Personal Information 

Once logged in select "Access My Information" and follow the prompts.

Please note:

• The results are typically returned via email within 72 hours or less, however, for long-time users or high-use accounts with a high level of communication history, the results may take up to 1 week to deliver. 
• You can only make this request twice within a 12-month period.
• You cannot request a copy of your personal data if your account was deleted. Only active accounts can request information.

How can I delete my personal data?

You can make a request to delete your personal information by logging into your TextFree account using this link: Delete My Personal Information.

Once logged in select "Delete My Information" and follow the prompts. 

Once you have completed the process your personal information will be deleted in accordance with our internal policies and applicable laws.

I am a California resident, what are my rights?

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA), several privacy rights apply to you and can be found outlined in our Privacy Policy / Privacy Notice. Pinger has applied these rights to all US and Canadian residents that use our applications, regardless if they reside in California or not.

I am under 16 years old what are my rights?

All of Pinger’s applications are not intended for children under the age of 16.

Anyone under the age of 16 using Pinger’s applications is doing so against Pinger’s Terms of Service and should immediately cease further use. All questions related to this policy can be emailed to [e-mail].

European Union (EU) /International Residents

I reside in the European Union/outside the U.S. or Canada, what are my rights?

All of Pinger’s applications are for U.S. and Canadian residents only.
