FYI: If you wish to unsubscribe from Pinger marketing notifications, click here for instructions.
For steps on how to enable & disable Pinger's incoming notifications, or how to have your text messages emailed to your registered email, view the information below.
Important: Disabling Pinger notifications is not the same as your device's Do Not Disturb feature. Disabling notifications will only prevent the phone's visual notifications (push, banner, etc), not sound notifications (your phone will still ring or vibrate with incoming calls & texts).
Email notifications
iOS users can have their incoming Pinger text messages emailed to them. Here's how to enable email notifications to your registered email:
- Pinger app Settings.
- Under Texting, locate Email Notifications.
- Tap to enable or disable (gray).
Note: Voicemail transcriptions/notifications are not emailed; only text notifications can be sent to your email.
Call & Text Notifications
- Pinger app Settings.
- Tap Support.
- Tap Manage Permissions.
- Tap Notifications.
- Tap the Allow Notifications bar to enable notifications.
Please Note: Be sure that Allow Notifications is enabled, then determine your preferred notification settings (Lock screen, notification center, banners, etc.) See below for more information on the individual notifications and how they work in Pinger.
