What is Single Sign-On?
Single sign-on (SSO) is an authentication method that enables you to access multiple applications with one login and one set of credentials.
How it works
If you choose to use single sign-on with Pinger, your login information from an outside (3rd) party will be used for both:
- Creating an account.
- Logging into an existing account.
Pinger Mobile
You have the following single sign-on options with Pinger on your iPhone:
- Apple
Note: Facebook is not an available single sign-on option for iPhone at this time, but we hope to include it in the near future.
TextFree Web
The following single sign-on options are available to use for TextFree Web sign-up and log-in:
- Facebook* (see note below)
- Apple
* If you use Facebook to create a Web account initially but have plans to use Pinger mobile, you cannot use Facebook to log into mobile and will be limited to using TextFree Web. For assistance or if you want to switch SSO options on your account, contact us.

I made an account through textfree web using google. Whenever I try to reset my password, (by entering no password on the current password tab and only do it on the new/confirm new passowrd tabs) it says "Please enter a password." I tried entering my gmail password onto the current password tab, which makes it say, "Hmmm...that password doesn't seem to match our records. Try again."
I need to go to verify Google or Facebook account
