Can I change my Pinger number?

Note: If your Pinger number has been removed from your account, contact us for further assistance.

We know there may be instances when you need to change your Pinger number (such as you selected the wrong number or the number you chose isn't working well for you). Because of this, you may be able to change your number. 

Please note: Number changes are limited and based on subscription status, recent activity, and account history.

Note: Please use the mobile app to change your phone number. For specific number requests or to retrieve a number you had previously, please contact support for help.  

To change your phone number using Pinger mobile:

1. Pinger Settings.
2. Tap Account info.
3. Tap on your Pinger Number.
4. Tap Change Pinger Number.
5. Once you tap Continue, you will be able to enter your preferred area code and choose a new number
   • Note: To find a local number in your area, please make sure to have your location permission enabled.

Important items to note:

• Since you only have the option to change your number once, it's important that you make sure to pick a number you really like.
• You will have 30 seconds to choose a new number before the session times out.
