International Texting

Note: Pinger users can send text messages to the countries seen below, but please note, we only support service to US and Canadian residents while they are within the United States and Canada. International residents cannot create a Pinger account.

The list below contains the countries that Pinger users are currently able to send messages to internationally.

Pinger supports sending messages to the following countries:

British Virgin Islands	Mexico*	Turks and Caicos Islands
Canada	Montserrat	Uruguay
Cayman Islands	Netherlands Antilles	Venezuela
Chile	Nicaragua
Colombia	Panama
Costa Rica	Paraguay

Important items to note: 

• We only support MMS to +1 (US destinations) at this time.
• If you both have Pinger downloaded on your device you can text and call each other for free as much as you want no matter where you are
• Due to Carrier rules & restrictions in Mexico, your recipient might experience issues with receiving text messages. 
• TextFree Web does not support texting to international numbers

What about receiving messages?

Pinger users can receive international texts (SMS) from anywhere in the world!

However, while we place no restrictions on what countries you can receive messages from, the sender's carrier may have limits in place when texting international numbers, which may prevent you from receiving messages.

Because of this, we cannot ensure that all international messages will be received. 

Tip: Have the sender contact their carrier to understand their international messaging plan and how it may impact you.
