Issue Symptoms
Receiving the error message "Request failed with error 5951" OR "Request failed with error 5961" when attempting to log into TextFree Web.
Resolution
If you receive this error code, please clear your browser's cache and cookies for TextFree Web. This will ensure that your browser loads the newest version of TextFree Web, then try to log in again.
To clear your cache and cookies:
- Visit TextFree Web.
- In the browser bar, click the
icon to the left of the URL to open the menu.
- From the list, select cookies and site data.
- Select Manage on-site device data.
- From the list, click the trash can icon next to messages.textfree.us and textfree.us.
- Click Done.
- Click
to refresh the web browser & try logging into TextFree Web again.
